Which Version Is The Bible? by Floyd Nolen Jones

This book is a good defense of the KJV being a superior version of the Bible. The only problem is that it is a bit acerbic towards the alternatives. If one is interested in the version debates from the KJV is best perspective, I would start with Crown with Glory By Thomas Holland. I think it is just as good but without the somewhat harsh treatment of the other side.

The Origin, Persistence and Failings of HIV/AIDS Theory by Henry H. Bauer

What if I told you that the number of people in the US that have tested positive for HIV has been consistent for HIV has been approximately 1 mil since the mid 80s (using the governments own statistics and press statements)? Do you think this info is consistent with a horrific epidemic?

What if I told you that Blacks test positive for HIV at about a 5 times higher rate than whites, taking into account, geography, income, age, gender etc.? Are your thoughts something other than ridiculously racist? No other sexually transmitted disease has anything close to that sort of consistent disparity. Perhaps we are not dealing with a sexually transmitted disease?

What if I told you that HIV infection is approximately equal across gender but AIDS is a primarily male disease? Is that info consistent with HIV being the sufficient cause of AIDS?

What if I told you that studies have been done where people who test positive for HIV have had unprotected sex with their partners for decades without their partners ever "catching" it?

What if I told you that HIV may not exist at all? HIV has never been isolated like the classic viral disease of polio, measles etc. it seems that such would be helpful but many have found it quite hard to do, but many don't even try anymore. Why?

What if I told you, that scurvy was considered contagious for over 100 years? This in addition to more recent scientific blunders such as the refusal to investigate if ulcers were caused by bacterial when the scientific consensus believed that such was impossible in the past two decades.

What if I told you that Africa is not suffering an HIV/AIDS epidemic but instead has a positive growth rate?

What if I told you that Magic Johnson is still living a vibrant life of a multimillionaire tycoon 19 years after testing positive for HIV? Oh sorry, you already knew that.

This book is the 800 pound gorilla of the anti HIV->AIDS movement. The book the mainstream HIV view must answer or lose any semblance of credibility.

Science Sold Out: Does HIV Really Cause AIDS? by Rebecca Culshaw

Very short book, almost pamphlet length by a Mathematician who did her PhD in modeling HIV. I would put it with Serious Adverse Events as an nice intro to the question of whether or not one should believe that HIV really causes Aids. She finally just became fed up that the numbers just could not be made to work. 1)The mortality rate of those on Anti Viral drugs due to testing positive for HIV being several times higher than those who have tested positive for HIV and it was left untreated. 2)People in the US have tested positive to HIV at the same rate since testing began in the early 80s. Yet the number of people with AIDS has not been consistent.

The most interesting fact to me, was that rapidity with which scientific papers went out of date. The author coming from a math background was used to being able to cite a paper 2-3 years old and be taken as being current. In the HIV research world, you can't get such work published because research that old is considered out of date. Yet those in the mainstream will talk about the overwhelming evidence that HIV causes AIDS by pointing to the tens of thousands of papers published on the subject (Most of them beyond the 2-3 year window).

It is a short read that is not super technical that I recommend highly.

Serious Adverse Events: An Uncensored History of AIDS by Celia Farber

I have read quite a few book on whether or not HIV causes AIDS, so I know the arguments pretty much inside and out, so this book did not really add anything to my knowledge, but it would be the first book to give someone if they are interested in the discussion. It is history written very compellingly. Almost in the form of a novel. A real page turner in an area that can be somewhat dry.

By reading it you will find out:
- Why AIDS is not decimating Africa and why it is unlikely to do so in the future. A big problem in Africa is malnutrition and bad drinking water.
- People who take antiviral drugs tend to have shorter life spans than those who avoid them.
- Many other things.

I recommend this book quite highly.

Finally some progress in this case. We are now heading in the correct direction of getting the case dropped.

One side comment: Early on in this case, several people in the Durham community and also some national stated their belief that if the accuser was a white woman and the accused were black men on the basketball of a HBCU school, then the whole case would have been handled differently and the law would have acted quicker and more forcefully against the men accused.

Let us imagine such a situation and then the case plays out as it did. DNA evidence comes back negative, the accuser changes her story multiple times. In response to this the Prosecutor drops the rape charges but keeps in place the kidnapping and assault charges.

What would have been the response of the community of Durham and the Nation at large?

1)There would have been more than ethics charges filed by the NC Bar
2)The feds would not have needed to be invited to look into the case.
3)Rev. Sharpton and Rev. Jackson would have set up shop within city limit and have mobilized multiple marches.
4)There probably would have been some sort of race riot.

It does seem to lead credence to the belief that it is much harder to get justice in America if you are a white male (especially if you are accused of harming either a white female or just a non white of any sort).
